Description: A marvelous read, full of fascinating personality profiles in snapshot, including the tart observation about Churchill: "He smoked matches and ate cigars." This is a very good copy of the First English edition, in an unclipped dust jacket that is lightly edge-chipped, with fingerprint on the rear face. The cloth is bright, the binding tight. The contents would be fine, were it not for a missing pair of leaves comprising pages 151-154, which have been replaced here with xeroxes.
