Description: One of the best essays about Winston Churchill ever written.

A review by the philosopher Isaiah Berlin of the first volume of Churchill's war memoirs, it first ran in The Atlantic Monthly and The Cornhill Magazine in 1949 before being republished in 1964 as this stand-alone volume.

This is a very good copy of the First American trade edition, in an unclipped dust jacket. The contents are fine.
