The first and only Churchill novel, a statement of personal and political philosophy delivered as a fictional adventure yarn. U.S. publication preceded the British issue by roughly ten days, rendering the American first edition the true first.

Description: This is a very good copy of what constituted SAVROLA's Second American Edition; virtually mint, in an unclipped dust jacket that has darkened a bit with age, else fine. The contents are fine. SAVROLA was broadcast as a one-hour teleplay on November 15, 1956 live and in color on NBC's Matinee Theater, starring Churchill's daughter, Sarah. This Random House reissue no doubt emerged to coincide with the broadcast.
