The paper caption reads: "Great interest was aroused in America when the Prime Minister first appeared in what he called ‘my siren suit.' Facing a battery of cine-cameras in the grounds of the White House, in Washington." The photograph was taken on December 22, 1941, following Churchill's arrival for his first White House visit of the war. This reprint by the Imperial War Museum is in very good condition.
